Hopes And Dreams

Sometimes our dreams seem so far away.
We must hold on to them everyday.
If you lose your dreams there's nothing left,
an empty hole inside your chest.
I cling to mine as if there will be no more,
these dreams inside life holds in store.
I know there's happiness out there somewhere,
and with my love I hope these dreams we'll one day share.
I know his dreams are a lot like mine,
even though we don't agree every single time.
But with these dreams comes hope for a life together.
And in my dreams I can't think of a man I'd want much better.
I pray our hopes and dreams will always be fair,
I hope for life our souls will bond and to each we bare.
You just can't loose sight of all your dreams,
it's something you should hold for eternity it seems.

The hand of time will tell it all.

Until Lifes Trials Bring Us Crashing Down

As I go through this life picking through lifes flowers
I often wonder why some of these flowers are beautiful
yet some just lose their luster and wilt away.
I look at life and the flowers within,
I often wonder where our flowers begin.
I too wonder why they have to end.
The petals and stem once so strong,
but somewhere in life things went wrong.
The petals began to wilt as they fall to the ground,
with it came the death of loved ones heaven bound.

I lay in your arms again last night,
it felt so wonderful you holding me tight.
I hated for you to let go so I could leave,
our bodies together the love we did weave.
You caressing me, me caressing you,
from us now comes a love so true.
Your eyes they held a beautiful glow,
with all the love they now show.
My body ached for your loving touch,
I wanted too love you I wanted it so much.
With each kiss you planted upon my cheek,
my body became so very weak.

Inside me these cells do grow,
what will happen this time I don't know.
It seems the battles will never end,

But I guess these battles make me strong.

They say God never puts more on you than you can take,
but this time I don't know I may just break.
