"Heart In Turmoil"

My heart in turmoil
my mind so blank.
A love so solid.
What did I think?
I threw it away
as though as nothing was there.
I know he must think
that I just didn't care.
But he deserves so much more
than I can ever give.
I know I will love him,
as long as I live.
I know that doesn't change,
the things that I've done.
Even though my heart,
he really had won.
He will be better off,
without me in his life.
That's why I can never be
his loving wife.
