My Dreams

My dreams now far past
Each turn I make they never last
Inside my mind I still see you
the pain of loss and love come true
Fairytale land it must have been
for again our love did not win
I know true love had beckoned me
oh why oh why could he not see
Our souls had met once again
to show us where our love began
But some where inside we lost that will
to love and honor and always give
My dreams now lay crushed in the past
as once again our love did not last
