Lost

I feel so lost sometimes
Not knowing what to do
You once held me so very close
My fears you wiped away
Now that you're no longer here
My minds at peace no more
I tremble when I think of you
You were my only world
As I now go on with life
I wonder what will come
Will my heart give up now
Or will I venture on
Sometimes I feel so very lost
My soul a misty grey
A shadow cast upon my heart
My life is truly gone
You left me here all alone
My world now incomplete
I hope one day to feel your love
As it was so long ago
Without you here I am so lost
My mind no longer clear
Come hold me now within your arms
And make my world safe once more
