When I needed you, you weren't there.
Within these walls, I'd sit and stare.
When I'd hear your voice,you weren't really there.
I'd just melt away in my despair.
I wanted to love you,but you didn't care.
I wanted to cherish you, but I didn't dare.
I wanted to hold you,with a love to share,
I needed to see you,but you just weren't there.
As I melted away in my despair.
I longed to see the look within your eyes,
oh, but with you came the perfect disguise.
You'd tell me not to cry,
but damn I hate it more with each goodbye.
I feel all the love you once held was just a lie,
Now my soul shall slowly die.
