WAITING

Stuck in transition
unable to appreciate the present.
Longing for what the future holds
I am in constant waiting.

Will you be in my future
or will heartache fall on me.
No one knows for sure yet
they only all assume.

Making it hard to wait
wait for the days.
I will have someone to hold me close
through these lonely nights.

Someone I can depend on
without holding back.
No longer being doubtful
of what tomorrow will bring.
