Why must there be so much pain?
I know with this love there was so much to gain.
I must let go of what we had,
I am destined to be forever sad.
With my love you stole my heart,
as we now have to part.
Something I hoped would never be
for inside my heart your all I see.
I hope one day that you will find
inside your heart and in your mind
that I am here and you are there
but together we could have a lifetime to share.
