I MISS YOU MOM

life has been so hard since my mothers death
all the things she'd done for us
and all the love that she expressed
we didn't know until she was gone
just how much she'd really done.
sitting with my father today and hearing him say
he missed her most when he driving down the road alone
and just how nice it would be to pass her on the road
like he had done so many times before.
it broke my heart and made me want to bust into tears,
for I have had the same thoughts myself so many times.
we miss you mama more than you will ever know.
