Alone

Somehow I knew
this love wouldn't last.
Now he is gone
this love from my past.

If he only knew
just how much I cared.
He wouldn't have left me
in this world so scared.

Without him now
I am all alone.
I feel as though
my whole life is gone.

I tried to make him happy
but I never could.
I didn't know how
or I really would.

But now it's to late
for my love has gone.
My heart has now shattered
as I lay here alone.
