I think of you in silence
I often speak your name
I feel again the bitter blow
That never should have come
Each morning when I wake
I know that you are gone
But no one knows my heartache
As I try to carry on
My heart still aches in sadness
And secret tears still flow
What it meant to lose you
No one will ever know
My thoughts are always with you
Your place no one can fill
In life I love you dearly
In death I'll love you still
They say that time heals everything
But I know it isn't so
Because it hurts as much today
As these secret tears still flow.
