True Beauty Lies Within The Rose

True beauty lies within each petal of a rose.
plucked petal by petal you'll find it's soul.
Much like your heart as I pluck the petals away.
A beautiful soul was found at it's heart.
But like most things of beauty you find it's thorn.
When a rose is grabbed by it stem,
sometimes it causes your heart to bleed.
With the beauty I found inside the petals of my rose,
the thorns I also found as my heart began to bleed.
As I plucked the petals away one by one,
I found our destiny together wasn't set.
But inside this rose I still find the beauty,
of that one special day we met.
So with the beauty and the thorns of this rose,
I'll never regret a moments time we spent.
And as the beauty of this flower regains it's final form,
I hope one day you'll find your destiny and be happy for evermore.
