Life's Flowers
My flowers that once grew
now seem to wilt.
The petals once strong
lay on the ground.
Once a perky flower
raised high to the skies,
now droops
as life knocks it to the ground.
Stepped on and stomped
as life goes wrong.
Will my flowers
ever grow again?
Or will these rains
be the end of my life's flowers?
